ISO Policy and Mission Statement

Astleys mission is to generate consistent levels of profit to provide a secure, rewarding and enjoyable workplace for all staff.

We operate in a highly competitive and saturated marketplace and in order to be successful we must always strive to be the best.

Offering a tailored, solutions-based approach backed with high quality service is how we will continue to set ourselves apart from the generic wholesale approach.

We do not believe in always being the cheapest, rather we undertake to provide a competitive solution that most accurately meets the customer’s needs. Our aim is for customers to be delighted with our service. We believe that this strategy rewards us with longer-term business relationships based on value, trust and recognised whole-life cost savings.

Efficiency and consistency is key to our ability to provide cost-effective solutions and retain customer loyalty.

Properly designed and followed processes are vital to this. We use metrics derived from Netsuite to continually monitor and improve efficiency based on targets which are reviewed weekly at a departmental meeting.

To do this, we need to have the right calibre of people to be able to effectively communicate, specify, source and deliver the optimum goods.

Our Company encapsulates a team ethos. We are led by sales who are supported by all facets of the company to deliver a market-leading solution to our customers. Every member of our company is respected and should feel acknowledged for their contribution.

Good leadership and clear direction is critical to our success. All managers communicate a clear, consistent message on the direction and purpose of the business, and endeavour to lead their teams to pull in the same direction.

We constantly strive to improve, introduce innovations and openly, critically evaluate our existing processes to determine scope for improvement. Business is dynamic and we have to embrace this.

Remaining static is not an option. However, we will not change for change sake – all decisions will be based on careful consideration and evaluation of the facts and available data.

We value long-term business relationships with staff, customers and suppliers. It is through these relationships that trust is built. We undertake to deliver on our promises and protect our reputation as an honourable business. We will always act in the highest of professional standards and promote the Company’s standing in the best possible light.
